Hello

In a project in my Jira, there are below conditions :

1- Project is Servicedesk type and Public (Customer who have an account in this site ,in Customer Permission)

2- Two Security levels are defined :

SL1(Group 1,Group 2 and ServiceDeskCustomer added to this SL) and

SL2 (Group1 and ServiceDeskCustomer added)

Group 1 is ServiceDesk Team.

Group 2 is both of:

- Customer(because everyone in group2 had account in jira)

and

- Agent(for assign and response issues in SL1)

when this group enter in Jira , see all issues in SL2 and SL1!

I set "Browse Permission" to this Groups and Servicedesk Portal Customers.

I want Group 2 can't see issues in SL1 and only can see issues in SL2.

How Fix it?

Thanks

Hi @Saeed ,

In my point of view your making your security level too complicated.

For a user who is part of Group 2 to NOT see the SL1 and ONLY see SL2

The user must NOT be part of the following group / role:

  • Group 1
  • ServiceDesk Team Role
  • ServiceDeskCustomer Role

It is too complicated and hard to narrow down.

My advice, make it simple and use Roles, don't mixed Roles and Group as much as possible and if necessary add additional SL for specific use-case.

Hi @brbojorque

thanks for your time.

in my scenari:

Group2 and all user in jira are customer for this project.

Group 2 is both of Custemer and agent.

problem is How to Seperate users in SLs?Group 2 is agent only for SL1,and should not see SL2.

I think this is possible but I dont Know How Fix somewhere.

thanks
