Search within filter(s)

I want to add a search plugin into one my dashboards but I want to limit the results of this search to only one or many filter results.

Is there a plugin for this and if not how can I go about doign this?

Thanks for the quick reply.

I am looking for plug which would contain a basic search text field the woudl allow to control where the results are captured from.

So if the filter gadget you mentioned above is ABC and it contains 1000 results, then the search text field would only retreive results from these 1000 results.
