Scheduling Tasks via SAL

Hi,

How could I schedule a task to run at 2am everyday through scheduling Tasks via SAL? This is possible through a cron expressions, but are cron expressions or running a task at a specific time supported in SAL?

Yes, I've looked at both those tutorials, is it possible to include a cron expression instead of the interval for the SAL tutorial? the 2nd link is exactly what I want, but the issue is that it is a v1 plugin, and since v2 plug-ins would be easier to upgrade, looking in to the options.
