Restrict the "Browse users and groups" global setting for external users

Hello there,

We are giving access to some clients/collaborators on Jira.

As they need to be able to tag or assign users we need to give them the "Browse users and groups" access, but as a result they can see each other and all our employees Jira profiles.

Would it be possible to limit a group of users to only be able to see and tag another group of user?

Thank you!

Hi @Salim Bouassida

Unfortunately at this stage this is not possible. Whilst you can limit users or groups to only see one project, you can't limit the browse user portion.

There is an open enhancement request for this - see JRACLOUD-40283

Hi Stephen,

thank you for the prompt response. I will wait for this enhancement to hopefully be fulfilled.
