Report on number of times issue goes through QA

Ray Nixon
July 15, 2015

Hi All,

We'd like a report on how many times a bug goes through QA. (i.e. going through QA once = Good, going through QA 5 times = bad).

We could either count the number of times it hits a particular state, or count the number of times a resolution is set (developers set resolution when they're done, QA clear it if it fails).

Any way to do this?

A useful option will be to use Transition Count Field option from the JIRA Misc Custom Fields plugin.

Alternatively, you could use a custom number field and bump it by 1 every time a transition is made back from QA (using a post function).
