Renaming a column in a board

Doug Alder
October 24, 2017

I am utterly new to Jira Admin. I have created a project which is intended to track received goods from receiving until entering them into inventory (Odoo). I am using the web version.  In creating the project I used the Process Control template and I want to rename the columns in the board to better reflect the actual process. I have not been able to see how to do this.

If this is a kanban board, when looking at the board, you'll see a button on the upper left that says "board" with a drop down next to it.  Click it and select configure.

When the configure page loads, on the left side, you'll see the nav menu that says "columns" click it.

For the column that you want to rename, click the column name, such as "Done"   you'll see the pencil icon that will let you rename the column.
