This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Proxying Atlassian server applications with Apache HTTP Server (mod_proxy_http)

Hi,

The article is great, it is working for HTTP, but now I would like to use HTTPS for JIRA and Confluence. Both are running on same address, just ports are different. Please can you give me an advice, how to modify Apache and Tomcat configuration to make HTTPS proxying work?

Getting it running with http is exactly the right thing to do as the first step, as it means you know it's all working and whatever you do next to make it https is the problem if something goes wrong!

Move on to https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver071/running-jira-applications-over-ssl-or-https-802593051.html next for JIRA (although once you've got through that, you probably won't need the Confluence doc, as it's pretty much the same)
