Problems during import of a project

Marc Romero Bosch
June 6, 2017

Hi,

I am currently doing a project import through its back up.

During the process had error like this:
The issue type 'Epic' exists in the system but is not valid for the projects issue type scheme.

The only way I can solve the problems with the Issues is to have the same issue and issue scheme from original jira?

Thanks!

You don't need it to be identical, but you do need to have matching configuration in place.  If you're importing (say) Epics, Bugs and Tasks, then your shceme in the target must include Epics, Bugs and Tasks.  (It could contain other types too, but they are not important)
