Hello,
For any add-on I try to install onto my company's Jira Cloud I get the following error:
"To install this app, you need to be the administrator of an Atlassian Cloud site. Unfortunately, we had a little trouble figuring out which site you are using.
If you are already using Atlassian Cloud, you can email your site admin and ask them to install this app for you."
Now I am one of three Jira administrators in my company and when the other two try to install the add-ons they get the same message, meaning no one is able to install any add-ons currently!
If anyone's got an idea what's going on, I'd greatly appreciate any suggestions!
Hey Ivan,
I have trouble with this as well when accessing the marketplace from the web. The only way I've found to be able to install marketplace apps is to go to settings within your application > add ons > Find new addons
From there you can search and install.
I raised this issue to Atlassian, but haven't seen any change in the wording. Not sure why they tell you you can install from the marketplace on the web if it always gives an error.
Thank you Meg! This did the trick :)
