Scenario: Today when we shutdown a server in DC( or single server), we do not have any possibility to make users to leave the server. We just kill the server and users loose unsaved data.
How to save the data or move the data to different server(when users switches to different server).
I am unaware of any way to move the users to a different instance. I would suggest having scheduled maintenance windows so users are aware that brief interruptions could occur during that time.
