Hi,
I want to give external users permission to a single Jira service management project. The problem is, that despite only having a service management license, they can still view Software projects. I have changed the "browse project" permission to users in the jira-software-users (users with a software license). However, when i check the permission helper, these external users still have access to software project issues. Can see the commonality is Application access but I don't see anywhere in the software permission scheme to change this.
To add another layer of confusion, there are a few software projects that these external users can't see, despite being attached to the same permission scheme. It seems there are some software projects an Application access permission and some not, why is this? Any ideas how to resolve?
Kind regards,
Brandon
Hi @Brandon Elie , I all comes down to how permissions are configured. First be sure that these users are not part of any group or role, e.g. Jira-software-users. The best way to check this is by viewing the details of each user. Second, check to ensure no CMP projects are setup using "any logged in user" for any permissions.
