In our Jira (v8.20) we use Active Directory for the log in credentials. We have since changed our policy that the length would be double the length as before, would this affect a user logging in?
I have checked and the password policy in Jira has been disabled. So, I am assuming that it would come down to the password policy that AD was using?
We have a user that has created a password over the minimum required and he tried to log into Jira it did not work, but when he shortened it to exactly the minimum it worked. Has anyone heard of this before?
