Notification on Create Issue in a certain security level

Hi Folks,

i have a question regarding a specific notification. I checked the notification schemes but this does not offer me very granular possiblities to send out a notification to a certain user based upon certain rules/conditions. I only want to notify a user if a ticket within a certain security level is opened up.

any ideas on this?

This may be a little cloogy, but here's an initial (and untested) idea:

1. Disable your notification scheme for the particular event
2. Using the Script Runner plugin (https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.onresolve.jira.groovy.groovyrunner) create a listener that fires on a particular even and notifies your specified individuals based on the conditions you set.
