Newly created Status not showing up in Issue Status dropdown.

I have created a new Status 'Blocked' and also added to the workflow. This shows up in the filter for Status but not in the Status dropdown for the issue.

You need to amend so that all statuses transition to that one.  If you click on the status in the edit workflow screen, it should come up with a box - check the top option and save / publish your changes.

There are no transitions into the status, either using  <-ALL or a 1-way transition.  You have to select the "Add transition" button, or in the right-hand panel select the option to allow any status to transition to Blocked.

It's worth noting that you will have to make the necessary changes in an inactive copy of this workflow, you can't add a transition into an active workflow - so you'll get an error if you try.

Make a COPY of that workflow, add a transition into BLOCKED, and then swap the newly created workflow with the existing one.

Could you provide a screenshot of the workflow please?

I suspect that the Blocked status is not set up correctly for transition from To Do.
