Need help to find better ADD ON

Sumaiah Begum June 18, 2024

Hello Expert,

I Need you help for the following requirements.

Manual Time Tracking: Users manually select projects and enter hours worked on each project in JIRA. It's essential that the add-on can capture and utilize this manual input for accurate reporting and forecasting.

Gantt Chart Capability: We require a tool that can generate Gantt charts to forecast project timelines and resource requirements based on the manually entered data. This includes predicting future workloads and resource allocations without predefined task assignments.

Resource Allocation Visualization: The add-on should enable clear visualization of resource allocation. For example, if team members manually log hours on various projects, we need to calculate and display resource utilization and availability accurately.

Portfolio Management: We aim to consolidate project data into portfolio views, such as grouping all projects, and visualizing total recorded hours for each portfolio.
In summary, we seek an add-on that leverages JIRA's capability to record manual time entries and offers:

  • Gantt chart functionality for forecasting project timelines and resource needs.
  • Visualization tools for efficient resource allocation management.
  • Portfolio views to aggregate project data and analyze recorded hours across different projects.

Could you please recommend an add-on or solution that meets these requirements? We are eager to explore options that align with our project management needs and enhance our ability to plan and forecast effectively.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your recommendations and guidance.

Best regards,

Sumaya
