Need a template in Epic Description at the time of Issue Creation

I added the default description at the workflow level, but it's not working for me. Any suggestions?

Hi @Anveshan Goel 

The "description" you find in the workflow editor (your screenshot) is the description of the step to status Open, not the field called description that is visible on the issue.

Its not possible out of the box - see the Atlassian Feature Request on this matter: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-42197

There are some workarounds though. Here is a the same question answered by the Atlassian team with their recommended workarounds.
