Hey everybody,

I try to create a validator and I found this list of available validators (it's for cloud, but I think Server should provide the same):

https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiracloud/available-workflow-validators-for-classic-projects-973489425.html

But when I try to 'Add Validator To Transition' I only have this two options:

Permission Validator

- User Permission Validator

Why do I only have this two? Can I create also a custom one?

Hi @Hannes

Another plugin you may want to try out is Workflow Rules Lite. It is FREE and allows you to define very flexible condition/validators using natural language rules. You don't have to learn groovy script.

Disclaimer: I'm the creator of the plugin.

Hello @Hannes

the list of available validators is a little longer for cloud instances.

In order to receive more, you can install apps or create your own. Some well known apps that work great in this area are:

I personally prefer the first and fourth of those, as they allow you to create very flixible validators conditions and postfunctions based on groovy scripts.

Cheers,
