Migration of ClearQuest using Jira Importer

Hi,

at the moment i amtesting the migration of a IBM Rational ClearQuest instance with about 150.000 items to jira. I already created an export of these data into json format. i already works with test data.

Overall i get a amount of about 500MB of data to import into jira using the Jira importer.
Is it possible start the (json) import via api? I want to split these data into several junks to avoid errors and do start import from this program
