We have a Service Desk project set up for clients. When an issue is created and the status changes to Open, a new linked software ticket is automatically created. I have been asked to migrate all of our projects (both Service Desk and software) over to a new Jira instance / account. Is there a way I can do that maintains the linked issues?
I can see there is a lot of information on exporting and importing issues from the same project. But I need to maintain the links between projects somehow. Is this possible or will I need to manually create the links once both the Service Desk and Software projects have been imported into the new Jira instance?
