Migrate data from a field to another

Hi!
We have migrated a project from one instance to  another, this process created a lot of junk like custome fields and duplicates, that aren't part of our standard and we would like to remove but some of them contain data that we don't like to delete forverer. So I was wondering if there's a way of transferring data from field to field.

Example:

We want to migrate date from the field "Technical Acceptance Criteria" to the field "Acceptance Criteria" so we can delete "Technical Acceptance Criteria".

Thank you in advance for your input

Hi @Leo

Make sure both fields are on the screens used in the projects and use automation for this.

See option to use in the documentation here; automation-for-jira-different-ways-to-copy-the-value-of-a-field-into-another

Hi again @Marc - Devoteam
It worked, I only have to use a scheduling automation with a JQL to work on several issues and then I just used the Edit Issue action. Thank you so much for your help.
