I need a webhook pointing to our matter most server. This server is private and it is on-premises because of liability reasons. We will not move to a cloud.
I tried to create a webhook with an URL like:
https://mattermost.mycompany.net:8080/plugins/jira/api/v2/webhook?secret=MY_SECRET
And Jira refused to create it because it was not on port 443 and the certificate is self-signed.
We understand the security concern, but our internet provider does not open port 443 and we are behind a VPN.
Could you please let JIRA Cloud access to ports different to port 443 and support self-signed certificates? We need this and we are aware of the security concerns. Perhaps you could add 2 checkboxes so we, as users, check (and release of liabilities to Atlassian) about the security problem:
[X] Accept self-signed certificates
[X] Use a port different than 443.
We NEED THIS. We have a subscription.
Thanks.
