The fix version field is required when creating an issue and I'd like it optional.
I have checked the field configuration and it's not set as required there. There is not any transition condition in the workflow.
Where else can I check what's this happening???
I would advise you to double check what field configuration schema you have assigned to that project. I don't know about cloud specifically but I know in server no field is mandatory unless the field configuration schema says otherwise... and I would be shocked to learn that changes when you transition to the cloud version.
