Mail notifications only issues created via Portal

Hello Atlassian Community!


My team works with a lot of customers, a few of them are using Jira portal to create the tickets and the rest send an email, and my team create the ticket.

My question is, How can I create an Automation in Jira to send a mail to my team that a new ticket is opened, but only for the tickets created via Portal?

If the ticket is created via Jira I do not want the notification to them.

Tried to created this way:

When Issue created,  User condition: User Reporter, is a customer.

But this way it will notify my team for other projects that have aswell the portal option, due have customers for different projects.

Want this Automation for one project with portal.

How can create rule to mail my team for new tickets only via Portal and only for customers of NOC project?

In the automation rule, using an IF component, set a JQL condition with "project = NOC"

It works!

The process was the next one, first IF condition if the reporter is a customer and then another IF JQL condition "request-channel-type = portal and project = NOC".

After configure this Automation, tried creating a ticket via Jira and another via Portal, only received mail notification
