Macros/Automation in jira mail handler

ashleyg June 25, 2014

Isit possible through JEMH that we can create macros/automate such that specific string in subject of mail adds label to the description in the issue that gets created.

If yes then how to achieve this or is there any other alternative?

I've unlabelled the ondemand reference, as (a) it wasn't clear from the question if this was the case b) you can't modify mail handler in the OnDemand instance anyway. I've also tagged it with the addon tag.

JEMH has an auto label feature, whereby keywords can be automatically used as labels, when they match certain criteria (more than X chars, less than Y). Suggested labels can be automatically added to.

Thanks Andy,

I'll surely have a look at it and will come back to you for any further clarifications.

As of now could you also let me know the solution for

"Bamboo remote agent" question raised by Susant Prusty.

If possible please popularise this question so that somebody answers it.

Not sure about that. I do not know how you could customize the built in mail handler. I will add some more labels on you question so it gets some more attention
