List view cascading subtasks do not appear within filter view

Hi, has anyone else noticed that within Jira Software or Work Management if viewing tasks via List View, the subtasks typically appear when selecting the carrot icon or cascading option? However, this feature disappears if an assignee selects or filters a filter view. Has anyone else found a work around?

The filter will, I believe, be applied at all levels and show only the issues that match the filter. Do the subtasks match the selected filter?
