I am referencing a Kanban board with a filter designating only 1 project. When I configure that board as the source for the Kanban Velocity/Throughput Gadget on my project dashboard, I get that specified project AND some of the related projects. I am using the Board so that I can use the Backlog feature of the gadget.
When I use the JQL query from the Kanban board filter directly I get only the 1 project, but the JQL does not work with the Backlog feature. Any ideas on why this is happening and how to fix it?

Hi @C-Dale_Thompson1 -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
Is that dashboard gadget from a marketplace vendor as it does not seem to be one of the built-in ones?

If it is from a vendor, I recommend contacting their support team from their links on the marketplace pages: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/
Kind regards,
