Jira - is it possible to assign different QA leads to different projects?

When we move a ticket to QA, it gets auto assigned to one person. Suppose we have different QA leads for different projects, is there a way to set the person to whom its gets assigned to automatically?

Yes, but it depends how you are already doing that "auto assign".  Are you using the "automatic" option in the assignee field, or a post-function or script?
