After we upgraded our JIRA version to 6.3.15, one of our users is facing an issue where JIRA issues created by him is getting cloned automatically. So for some of the issues he created, there is another unnecessary clone created which has to be deleted. (happening for a particular component mostly). I could not find much details in logs. How do i go about debugging this issue and resolving the same?
Start by narrowing down the exact circumstances - do the issues where the duplicates occur have one thing in common (you mention component, but say "mostly", so you probably want to be sure about that). Is it always the "create" process?
Does this happen if the user uses a different machine to create his issues? Ideally check with a machine where you've never seen it happen (like your machine)
Can you replicate it as another user?
