Jira and confluence cloud integration: Different users accounts numbers

Hello all,

We are currently using Atlassian server and we're looking for all options available since the last Atlassian updates about server and data center, i want to know if we migrate to Jira / confluence cloud with different users accounts numbers in confluence cloud and Jira cloud how they could work, i mean : i.e if we migrate to confluence cloud for 51-100 users as knowledge base, could we migrate to jira cloud for only 26-50 users as its not necessary for all members and how they could interact and work together with the integration of jira & confluence

Note : for server we should buy the same number of users accounts in both products Jira & confluence

Hi @Rafik EL HOUARI ,

It's not necessary to have the same user count for both Jira & Confluence Cloud when buying the license it depends on your use-case and the type of users you will add to the specific applications.

Obviously, those user's who don't have a Jira license won't be able to view the tickets (unless public projects) vice versa.
