Jira REST API v3 with OAuth 2.0 (3LO) returns 401 Unauthorized

Summary

I used Postman to check if the Jira Platform REST API v3 with OAuth 2.0 (3LO) works BUT received this error... 401: Unauthorized.

Configuration

  • Authentication method = Bear Token
  • Access Token = eyJhbGciOiJIUzI1N.......... .eNPQT1AkZt5Ftqtod8
  • Registered scope = offline_access read:jira-user read:jira-work read:me read:account

Resolved.

It was an ordinary mistake. I was using an access token that was issued over an hour ago (3600 seconds) and had simply expired. However, the error message was simply 401 and I did not notice...
