JQL filter issue

Hello!

We changed our Brand Creative project filter recently to filter in any issues with the Copy Review dropdown field. Previously our JQL was project = brand creative team

The new copy Review field is on the following projects: Net Dollar Retention, Product Marketing, New Business and Awareness and Perception projects.

I confirmed Anastasia has Board admin and People admin on all projects.

For some reason Anastasia is unable to close or edit sprints on Brand Creative after the filter change.

Can you please let us know if you can think of any reason why Anastasia no longer has access? Is my JQL correct?

Current JQL:

project = "Brand Creative Team" OR "Copy Review[Dropdown]" in (Heliz, lizz, Mandy, Michelle) ORDER BY Rank ASC

Hi Jade,

Basically, Anatasia would have to have Manage Sprint permissions on ALL projects used by the new filter.

Hi @Jade Melcher

For a filter like that, Jira cannot easily determine which projects are included (even when we can just look and see that).  Please look at this article which describes how to handle those cases:

https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/use-manage-sprints-permission-for-advanced-cases/

Best regards,

Bill
