We have had multiple instances of JIRA not loading in Internet Explorer. Is there a a particular version of IE or Edge that JIRA does not support?

Yes there are certain versions of browsers that are supported depending on your product.

For Jira Cloud we have documented the browsers that are supported in Supported browsers.

For Jira Server please see the documentation Supported platforms - Atlassian Documentation.  That page has a corresponding page for each version of Jira, so depending on what version of Jira you are running might determine which browser versions are supported.

In both current versions of Jira, I believe that the Internet Explorer browser is supported, but only in version 11.
