JIRA Cloud for Slack

Will the JIRA Cloud for Slack Add-On support in-issue Slack channels in a similar way that Slack Connector does? This new add-on does what I want, but would really be great if it could create a dedicated in-issue channel.

You should ask the add-on developer directly using their support page on the Atlassian Marketplace: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.atlassian.jira.slack/cloud/support

You are correct. But I wanted to write a general approach that will work for all add-ons (not just Atlassian add-ons) when making new feature requests.

  1. Go to the add-on in marketplace.atlassian.com
  2. Click on the "Support" tab.
  3. If there is a JIRA project then raise an issue there for new features.

For this add-on a new feature is being requested, instead of a question about an existing feature, for that reason Andrew might have more luck if he posts an issue on the Service Desk that was on that "Support" tab instead of asking the Atlassian community: https://ecosystem.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/15
