Is there a way to show the dates for future sprints in their headers (like in the current sprint)?

We typically keep a few future sprints in our backlog page.

It'd be super helpful for planning to either autofill (based on our 2 week sprint cadence) or be able to manually add dates to future sprints in the backlog.

Dates in the current sprint are helpful, but..

It's harder to know dates for future sprints off the top of your head the further out you go. ... And I don't want to have to spend a couple minutes to go look it up in the calendar.

Hi @DMark, there are three ways i can think of to resolve this issue.

#1 - Use fix version instead of active sprints, this allows you to add start and end dates without a sprint being active.

#2 - The use of an addon called Plangle - https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1212802/plangle-for-jira-software?hosting=server&tab=overview
This pretty much explains itself.

#3 - This is the most hacky way to do it but doesn't necessarily answer your question, adding the date within the sprint names to when they should be started and finished.

Please vote on this - https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWSERVER-7740 to gather more interest and get this feature added!

Hope this helps

+1 to using a date in the fix version, this is how we do it at my org.

Hi @Tyler Brown-Jones  and @Meg Holbrook ,

How did you achieved this. I'm unable to get the thing by using #1.

Can you please provide me the process.

Thanks,

Anvesh,
