Is there a way to display exact date/time(just like in above row) instead of displaying tomorrow/3days ago etc. in Jira Filter view.

Hi @Sankar_ Deepthy , see if the following helps -  JRACLOUD-41506 , specifically this excerpt from Atlassian. I am unsure if the "clicking" on the date works in filter results.

We’ve now addressed this in the new issue view!

  • When the date of the action is <= 7 days ago, you’ll be able to switch between relative and absolute formats by clicking on the timestamp.
  • When the date of the action is > 7 days ago, it will always show the timestamp in absolute format, as per our design guidelines.

If you don’t have the new issue view yet, you can try it out by clicking on your avatar > Personal settings then turning on New Jira issue view under Labs. For more info, check out The new Jira issue view.

Hi @Sankar_ Deepthy@Bao Truong

I don't know if this problem justifies additional tooling for you, but just to put it out there:

If you're open to solutions from the Atlassian Marketplace, this would work as expected in the app that my team and I are working on, JXL for Jira.

JXL is a full-fledged spreadsheet/table view for your issues that allows viewing, inline-editing, sorting, and filtering by all your issue fields, much like you’d do in e.g. Excel or Google Sheets. It also comes with a long list of advanced features, including support for (configurable) issue hierarchiesissue grouping by any issue field(s), sum-ups, or conditional formatting.

Plus, date and date/time values are always shown as absolute values as expected, like so:

Any questions just let me know,

Best,

Hannes

I'm experiencing the same issue. I'm not sure if there have been any recent updates related to this.

I discovered a workaround - if you have multiple issues, you can sort that field in ascending order, and then it will display in the absolute format. However, in my case, where there aren't many issues, I don't know what to do.
