Is there a way to create an issue in full screen mode in the new Jira UI?

I much prefer to create a new issue in full screen mode in its own tab.  Many times I am creating an issue based off of some other issue I'm looking at.  By doing it in a separate tab it is much easier to bounce back and forth between the two while I'm writing the new issue.

I also liked how I would then end on the full issue view page of the new issue.

I can't figure out how to accomplish this in the new Jira UI.

Hi Joshua,

The inability to open links in new tabs has come up a few times recently and the best way to get this addressed is going to be to use the Feedback button when you click on your avatar.  This will help get the feedback directly to the devs so they can improve the Cloud offering going forward.
