Hello,
I would like to get some pointers in benchmarking, and / or best
practices (for performance) for Jira cloud.
We occasionally see poor performance when editing cards or filtering.
Stats:
- We have 61 custom fields.
- Ca 1 - 2 hundred thousand tickets.
- We have an automation rule that runs multiple times when editing issues.
example audit log:
Date Rule Status Duration Operations
30/09/22 11:22:46 am (10708574905) when issue updated -> discord followup COS NO ACTIONS PERFORMED 0.23s

30/09/22 11:21:43 am (10708556921) when issue updated -> discord followup COS NO ACTIONS PERFORMED 0.15s

it usually terminates at the entry conditions.
- We also make heavy use of "Smart Checklist"
- We make use of the "Scriptrunner" app -> `ScriptedFields` feature.
These make 1-2 web requests themselves and hence take 1-2 seconds.
Seems like there can be 20 of those running around the same time.
Would be nice to know what matters for performance and what does not matter.
Cheers,
