Is there a way to automatically mark an Epic as Done when all its associated stories are marked Done?

We want to use Epics for large requirements, that will have multiple sub-requirements (Stories). In the current GreeHopper/JIRA version, even if all the stories within the Epic are Done the Epic remains opened. We want to have the Epic marked Done automatically when its last opened story is marked Done.

Is there a way to do this?

Not sure if there is a simpler plugin, that would do this, but this is something, which Structure plugin can do. Please check the video explaining how this feature works:

Should you decide to give the plugin a try, here are the instructuions on the Status Rollup Synchronizer configuration: https://wiki.almworks.com/display/structure/Status+Rollup+Synchronizer
