We have a project that has a desire for their tickets to include a series of text fields to list items, but the number of items could be anywhere from 1 to 20 or more. They would like to be able to basically have a blank item with a button or some other method to generate another field if necessary for each additional item. e.g. "Artifact Name" field, type in the artifact, select "Add another artifact" button. Alternatively, it would be great if the new field was automatically created each time the field gets filled in. Does anyone know of a way to do something like this? Thanks.
One other approach, a couple of months ago I almost finished a grid custom field but never had time to do the final polishing. Supports different columns per custom field config, and as many rows as you need. Looks a bit like this on my test system. Let me know if anyone is interested and I'll try to finish it.
Jamie, this looks very intriguing. It definitely looks a little closer to what the customer has in mind because ease of readability was a big concern. I'd possibly be interested if you get this finished. Thanks for your comment.

Hi Jo-Anne - PAC is down atm so can't finish this off, but (minimal) docs are here https://studio.plugins.atlassian.com/wiki/display/GRV/Grid+Custom+Field and the download is here https://studio.plugins.atlassian.com/wiki/download/attachments/67797869/grid_custom_field-1.0.jar.
Any feedback welcome.

You could use labels - you can assign multiple items to an issue and each time you add one it is added to a list for later selection.

Thanks Mark. This might be a good alternative. I'll present it to my customer and see what they think about it.
