Hi I noticed in the Permissions that I can decide who can delete Issues.

Is it possible limit the permissions to delete according to Issue Type?

Hi @rtamam

In Jira, it is not possible to limit the deletion of issues according to issue types directly through the permission schemes. Jira permissions can control who can delete issues, but this control applies to all issue types within the project.

However, by creating a custom workflow for specific issue types, you can control the delete operation. You can add conditions or validators to restrict the delete transition based on the user's role or group.

By doing this, provides more control over specific issue types and can help achieve the desired restriction indirectly.
