Is it possible to have a column-span in an agile board

My agile-boards are very 'high', because all the tasks are positioned vertically. Especially at the start and end of a sprint, when all tasks are in Todo or Done. I would like to be able to give the column 'Todo' a width of two or three, meaning that tasks can be positioned next to eachother within the Todo column (two or three cards wide). (Similar to the span-tag in HTML).

Unfortunately that's currently not possible to achieve, but we do have an improvement request related to this at:
