We have created a custom field to register the size of items. I would like to impose WIP limits on my kanban board based on a maximum amount of size per column instead of the number of tickets.
If not possible i would, at least, like to ask if there's a quick way to see what's the total size of several different tickets (maybe based on a JQL query or directly under the Kamban board column would be amazing). That's something i would easily be able to do on excel but exporting the results of a search or a report and calculating total size would be extremely inefficient.
Here a link to explain what i'm trying to do better:

(Skip to the paragraph "WIP Limits Based on Card Size")
Also please note that the size is currently not expressed in plain numbers but in ranges e.g. 1-2 days; 3-5d; 5-8d etc. etc. but we can easily change that if necessary.
Thank you very much for your kind help,
Paolo de Rosa
Hi @Paolo de Rosa ,
WIP is based on number of tickets and not to their size (https://www.atlassian.com/agile/kanban/wip-limits). For my knowledge you can't setup limit based on something different from tickets number.
