Hello, I am planning to upgrade from Atlassian JIRA (v5.2.11#854-sha1:ef00d61) to JIRA 6.4.

Is JIRA 6.4 stable version?

Which steps should I take care off during this process?

FYI, I am going to install that at TEST site for staging at first.

Thank you!

All public releases by Atlassian are "stable" (with a couple of exceptions which they remove from the download list)

Generally though, people will avoid a .0 release, because it's quite common to find a number of edge-case issues when a release goes out to the wider world, and a .1 usually arrives quite quickly.

I would quite happily test 6.4.0, but for a big site, I'd probably anticipate deploying 6.4.1

A good approach would be check the https://jira.atlassian.com as well and look for bugs affecting this specific version. It will be something like this.

Hope it helps!

Cheers,
