Inline scripts have access to same directories as groovy scripts on the server?

ScriptRunner Post Functions have 2 ways to provide code: provide the name of a Groovy script in a file in a specific directory on the server or paste Groovy code in an inline window.

Groovy scripts in files in that directory have access to "snippets" of Groovy code in sub-directories of that specific directory.

It appears that Groovy code in an inline window does not.  Is there anyway to import external classes into Groovy code in an inline window?

It would be nice if the two ways of specifying Groovy code were consistent.
