Increase Summary character limit (Data Center)

Hi,

I am sure this has been answered before but I can't find an aswer.

Can the system field "Summary" character length be increased?

I think that the default value is 255 and I would like to slightly increase it.

I am on Jira 8.20

jira.text.field.character.limit this property applies for fields like Description, Environments, Comments and text custom fields. 

But for summary we may not i guess.

Thank you both for your replies.

You are both referring to the jira.text.field.character.limit field but that field (as far as I am aware) is not related to summary but only to Description, Environment, Comments and Text custom fields.

I guess that maybe is not possible to change the lenght.
