In my jiraissue table, the value for jiraissue.assignee relates to the username value in cwd_user.user_name for all users except one. For this one user, the value of jiraissue.assignee relates to the cwd_user.id value for all issues assigned to this user.

Has anyone encountered this issue before? My guess is that this is somehow related to how the user was created.

Depending on your JIRA version jiraissue.assignee refers to app_user.user_key and not to cwd_user.lower_user_name.

Thank you for your answer. We determined the difference in the assignee value was caused by an upgrade.
