Impossible to add an existing user on project

Hello

I'm having an issue adding an user to a project because Jira says "Cannot find user", however, user exists and it's active. 

If i try to add it trough Project options, it says User xxxx cold not be found or is not active, however, he's able to log in and see other tasks and proyects

It's assigned to the right permissions and groups. Any help (i'm raving mad)

Hi Gabriel,

I would start by making sure the user has Browse Project, Assign issues and Assignable user permissions in the project.  If that is all good I would next reproduce the issue and then check the JIRA_HOME/log/atlassian-jira.log and the JIRA_INSTALL/logs/catalina.out to see if there is any further information the logs may provide. 

If you do find additional information in the logs you can post the snippet here and we can take a further look!
