Importing Multiple Watchers on CSV File

sworcester December 29, 2021

I've been enjoying success with importing multiple issues at once via a CSV file on my project. I'd also like to add Watchers (plural) for each issue. I figured I could just enter a comma-delimited list of the emails for the users I want to add as watchers. I did some Googling, but couldn't find the answer to how I can assign multiple watchers on each row of my CSV file. Does anyone out there know if I just need a different delimiter or something else?

Hi @sworcester

I haven't tried this in a while, and I recall that you add a separate column in the import CSV for each one you want.  That is, multiple Watcher columns.  For an example, please look at how Components are imported in this help documentation: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/import-data-from-a-csv-file/

Kind regards,
Bill
