We have Organizations set up. When a customer enters the portal and creates a request, it is populated. I need to copy this value into another field (Customer) in the same ticket. I think it can be done with an automation rule but am having trouble accomplishing this. Any ideas?

What type of field is "Customer"?
Organizations is a special variety of multi-selection list. If you try to simply Log the output in an Automation Rule you get something like this.
So, you will not be able to do a simple "copy" of the data to another field.
The solution is going to depend on what type of custom field the destination field is, and what you might be expecting to do with the value in that field.
