I go to create test and it creates a story

I installed zephyr for JIRA cloud

However

when I go to "Tests" in the top bar, and then "Create Test" it opens the "create issue" window and test is not an issue type I can select...

Hello Dan,

Check whether the 'Test' issue type is added to your selected project or not. Please follow the below steps for the same-

1. Select the project.
2. Navigate to Administration section.
3. Click on 'Issue Type' option on left panel. Check if the 'Test' issue type is present in the 'Issue Type' list or not.
4. If not present please click on the 'Action' button on the right side of the page. Then select 'Edit Issue Type' option from the drop down. 
5. Drag and drop the 'Test' issue type from the 'Available Issue Type' list to 'Issue Type for Current Scheme' then save it. 
6. Now try to create a test from Tests->Create a Test option. You should get the 'Test' issue type there.
